Welcometo:

ASite for Sore Eyes

(Subliminal Me)

Thank you for visiting:

A Site For Sore Eyes.org.

My name is Chris LaneI'm an Air Force, Disabled Cold War Veteran, not a Wartime Veteran. This site was originally for veterans coming back from war in 2010. As time moved on, millions of Americans have been killed. This isn't going to get political, because I experienced rhetoric rage. Never again. I'm not judging. I'm here to provide an escape. I'm old school and don't know any programming, so my movies are going to be like analog is to digital from my day.

Photography has brought me to this. My journey isn't unique, it's just mine. Nothing is better than stopping time, even if it's just for an instant. Social media shows the good in the world in an instant, a recording, live streaming, but the challenge is finding it. This is a place to find it.

Most Christians don't experience the full force of the world's sins. I have had a lifetime of dealing with the joys of being born an alcoholic, addiction, chronic pain, and mental and emotional battles. I've also had moments of deep failures and amazing outcomes in faith.

I've decided to teach how I use the bible to address the challenges of my recovery. It does involve watching pastors who teach "Grace and Faith Based" Christianity.  Jesus came to save a wretch like me, and I fought him every step of the way. Then I surrendered and stopped listening to condemnation, and learned about Jesus on my own. God has always been there, but I always thought Jesus was just a middleman. I was so wrong.

We have to keep things simple in recovery. We deserve to have a peaceful life, but life isn't peaceful. Jesus shows us how to seek peace and pursue it, even in the most difficult trials. God knows the human nature of freewill, and he knows the sins of the world. That's why he gave his son, so we can be forgiven of our sins and have life and have life more abundant. I'm OK with that. God bless

Welcome and enjoy
